Our Purpose
Our purpose at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church derived from the final words of Jesus to His followers. These words are known as the Great Commission found in:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church exists to reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ.

WE EXIST TO PRAISE GOD…
Through celebrating new life in Jesus.
Through responding to His presence in our lives.
Through allowing His Holy Spirit to lead us.
Praise is our way of expressing our deep love for God. In worship we submit to His lordship in our lives and reflect His majesty, glory, and power.
PREPARE OURSELVES FOR SERVICE…
Through the study and application of Scripture.
Through developing our talents and spiritual gifts.
Through becoming mature in Jesus Christ.
Preparation and growth is vital. It is not merely an option. However, growth is not an end in itself. Therefore, we seek to grow and become mature so that we can be prepared for service to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
PROVIDE LOVE AND CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER…
Through sharing each other needs, burdens, and joys.
Through serving each other in a sacrificial way.
Through learning how to love and be loved.
God in His grace, has given us to each other. An integral part of our life as His body is caring for and supporting each other.
PROCLAIM CHRIST TO THE WORLD…
Through the penetration of our society.
Through reproducing ourselves by evangelism and discipleship.
Through applying our Lord’s command to go and make disciples.
We take seriously our Lord’s command to go and make disciples. Mission is the bedrock of our reason for being
We at Beautiful Savior need periodically to review the major aspects of our mission and for all members of the body of Christ to take part in its fulfillment. These interlocking purposes provide a stable and godly vision to shape the future of this church.
